Lorraine Malone

Lorraine (Wolenski) Malone, 73, wife of the late Joseph P. Malone, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at her home. She was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Mozdzierz) Wolenski.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Crete and her husband James, of Middlefield and Judith Doyle of East Hampton, a son, James Malone of Middletown. She leaves eight grandchildren, Dan Connelly, Jason Connelly and his wife Tara, Nick Connelly and his fiancée Catherine, Ashley Crete, Meghan Doyle, Tyler Folkes, Joseph Malone, Matthew Malone and four great-grandchildren, Madelynn, Colby, Jason and Makaley. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Wolenski, and a grandson Julian Crete.

Formerly a Middlefield resident, she was an avid reader thanks to the staff of the Levi Coe Library. A memorial service was held at St. Colman's Church.
