Averino Catalano

Averino Catalano, 71, husband of Judy (Bittner) Catalano, of 5 Janet Drive, Middlefield, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, at his home. He was born Feb. 14, 1937, in Middletown, son of the late Raffaele and Concettina (Forgione) Catalano. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by E.B. Manufacturing, Middletown.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sharon Catalano of Mantua N.J., and Stacy Morgan and her husband, Todd, of Middletown; and a beloved granddaughter, Annalee Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 a.m. at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 S. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in the family plot in Middlefield Cemetery, Middlefield. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Middlefield Fire Department or a charity of the donor's choice.
