Boy Scouts of Troop 27 in Durham recently made their Winter Trek to Mt. Norris in northern Vermont. The Troop experienced winter snow shoeing and crosscountry skiing, as well as participating in archery, shot gun shooting, axe throwing and rock climbing. Overnight temperatures dipped well below zero but that didn’t stop some of the scouts from sleeping in snow caves they constructed during the day. (Submitted by Kathy Nizen.)
